Tral/Nov,21: A spontaneous shutdown is being observed in Tral town and adjacent areas to mourn the killing of Hizb militant Adil Rashid Chopan .
Reports said that all shops and other business establishments are closed while traffic is off the roads.Chopan, who was killed in a gunfight in Seer village of Tral township, was laid to rest at the martyrs’ graveyard in Lurow where thousands of people attended his funeral prayers.
Emotional scenes were witnessed as the body of Chopan (17) was marched towards the graveyard. Women were seen beating their chests while men raised pro-freedom slogans. Meanwhile, Internet services continue to remain suspended in the area.Mobile Internet service was suspended yesterday after the gunfight began in Seer forests.
