Baramulla: Comtech Institute of Technology Monday organized an awareness camp about various skill development programs here.
Director North Campus University of Kashmir Dr Irshad Ahmad Wani was the chief guest while as Joint Director Planning A G Malik was the guest of honor.
The camp witnessed overwhelming response of youth especially the unemployed and school dropouts from the district.
The camp aims at educating the unemployed youth about various skill development programs besides imparting other vocational training for achieving sustainable employment opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief guest hailed the concerned for organizing the program and said various skill development programs have been instituted under “Nai Manzil” initiative for the youth to earn their livelihood. He stressed upon awareness dissemination among masses and urged for obtaining different skill development courses though National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
