Ang/Nov,20: More than a dozen shops were Monday morning gutted in Lal Chowk and Reshi Bazaar areas in Anantnag town.
Reports said that the fire broke out in major commercial hub Cheni Chowk and Reshi Bazar in Anantnag – about 55 km from Srinagar at 2 am.
Fire tenders were rushed from different parts of the district to control the flames.
Around 15 shops were gutted in the fire which was brought under control after several hours.
