Jammu: A delegation of Private Schools Association Thursday called on Education Minister, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and projected its demands.
Responding to their issues, the Minister said government recognizes the contribution of private players in education sector and it will provide every support to them for running their institutions as per the set rules and regulations.
The Minister asked the senior functionaries of the education department to ensure single window clearance while issuing NOCs, renewal and new recognitions. Responding to the complaints of delegation, the Minister called for strict action if any official of the department is found resorting to dilly delaying tactics while dealing with the cases of private schools.
