Srinagar: Chief Executive Officer Jhelum & Tawi Flood Recovery Project, Sourabh Bhagat held a meeting to review the status of works being taken up by SMC under the World Bank aided project.
Commissioner/Secretary H&UD Department, Hridesh Kumar Commissioner SMC, Chief Engineer UEED, Director Finance, H&UDD, Director Technical JTFRP, Joint Director Planning, H&UDD, Superintending Engineer, Drainage Circle, SMC, Srinagar, representatives of consultant M/s WAPCOS Ltd and other officers were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, Commissioner SMC informed about the status of DPRs of the identified Drainage Schemes for the area.
It was informed in the meeting that state of the art SCADA system would be established soon and the Main Control Centre (MCC) will be kept in the building likely to be constructed at Gogo Humhama.
The CEO expressed satisfaction over the progress on several schemes being implemented by Housing and Urban Development Department.
