Udhampur: On the directions of Controller Legal Metrology, R.K Katoch, a departmental team Tuesday conducted checking of retail outlets at Mand in district Udhampur.
The inspecting team checked retail outlets and other business establishments located along the national highway. The team detected two retail outlets operating without valid explosive liecences, non-displaying of daily sale rates of MS and HSD in their retail premises and non-completion of daily sale records. The sale operations of Rattan Filling Station and Shiva Filling Station were suspended for violating various provisions of law.
Both the retailers have been booked under relevant provisions of law being enforced by department of Legal Metrology.
