Srinagar: Kashmir Video Journalist association Friday held election to elect office bearers. Bashir Ahmad lone was elected president, Fayaz Ahmed was elected vice president and Jehangir Aziz was elected General Secretary.
38 votes were polled in favour of Bashir Ahmed and arshed Hussain bagged 7 votes for the post of president. For the post of vice- President, Fayaz Ahmed was bagged 27 votes and Tariq Lone 18 votes, Similarly for the post of General Secretary Fayaz Ahmed got 31 votes and Firdous Ahmed 21 votes.
Senior Journalists Shujaat Bukhari, Shuja-Ul-Haq, Ishfaq – ul- Hassan, Farooq Javid were poll observers which was held in the media complex Directorate of information and Public relations.
