Farmer’s training prog cum kissan Ghoshti held Under ATMA

Udhampur: The Department of Agriculture organsied a Farmer’s Training Program Cum Kissan Ghoshti under CSS-ATMA scheme here Tuesday.

During the program the   farmers were given demonstration about latest Agriculture equipments and machinery.

While addressing the farmers, District Development Commissioner, Ravinder Kumar, applauded the efforts of agriculture department for disbursing the benefits of CSS-Schemes to the needy farmers for their Socio-economic upliftment, creating awareness regarding ongoing schemes and training of farmers on latest technology.

Farmers expressed keen interest in the program and asked for exposure tours and events at block level as well.

Among others, Chief Horticulture Officer, Brij Vallabh Gupta, incharge KVK Reasi, Dr. Banarsi Dass Gupta, DAO (Extn.), Ajay Sharma and Officers/Officials of Agriculture department besides large number of farmers were present on the occasion.
