Doda/Nov,8: Fifteen passengers, including five policemen and two under-trials, were injured Wednesday morning in a head-on collision between Matador and a Police Bus in Gatsoo area of Doda district of Jammu province .
Reports said a mini bus, bearing registration number JK06-2986, which was on its way from Doda to Kishtwar, collided with a Police Bus (registration number JK17-0637) coming from opposite direction near Gatsoo, two Km from Doda on Batote-Doda-Kishtwar Highway(NH1B) around 9:30 AM.
A police party from Police Post Pul Doda reached at the spot and with the help of locals, immediately shifted all the injured to District Hospital Doda.“After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and along with locals started rescue operation and shifted all the injured persons to District Hospital Doda. They are responding to the treatment and are said to be stable,” said Iftkhar Ahmed, DySP Hqrs Doda.
Police has registered a case in this regard at Police Station Doda and further investigation is going on.
