Udhampur: Udhampur Sports Council under J&K Sports Council is going to organize Boxing, Kabaddi and Handball Tournament in Udhampur in coming days , said Vice Chairman Udhampur Sports Council Rahil Gupta in a press release.
Udhampur Sports Council, Vice Chairman Rahil Gupta, on Wednesday interacted with I/C Manager, Coaches and stressed upon promoting uncovered sports across the district so as to tap immense talent of youth of Udhampur .
Rahil Gupta asked all Members to take motivation from the success of recently concluded Hanball Tournament, organized by District Sports Council and focus on intensifying Sports movement in the district.
The events of Boxing, Kabaddi and Handball will be carried out in support of private players and around 500 players are expected to participate in upcoming events.
Rahil Gupta appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Sports Minister Imran Ansari and Secretary Sports council Waheed Para for promoting Sports in the state. I/C Manager Shaktish Chopra, Coaches Dalvinder Singh and Ajay Gupta and other staff was present on occasion.
