Kishtwar: Annual sports meet 2017 for inmates of District Jail Kishtwar concluded here Wednesday, in which various teams of Jail participated.
The Chief Guest of the concluding valedictory function was District Development Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana.
In his address Angrez Singh Rana congratulated all the participants, especially the winners for their achievements during one week of sports event.
He said that all the events were held in a good sportsman spirit and stressed that such event boosts and reforms the lives of inmates. He advised the inmates to take part in sports activities besides focusing on curricular activities for their overall development.
On the occasion various prizes were distributed among the winning teams of annual sports meet.
The sports meet was conducted under the supervision of the Superintendent District Jail, Mushtaq Ahmed Malla along with Medical Officer Jail, Dr. Yasir Aziz and other officers.
