Srinagar: Minister and President ” Jammu & Kashmir Bachao
Tehreek” Ab Gani Vaki has said that dynasty politics propagated by the
families of NC Founder late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and PDP Founder
late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has sown the seeds of discontent and
political disillusionment in Jammu & Kashmir state.
Asking people to come forward to help “Jammu & Kashmir Bachao Tehreek”
uproot the dynasty politics of Farooq and Omar Abdullah duo and
incumbent Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Vakil while addressing a party
convention at Sopore said both National Conference (NC) and Peoples’
Democratic Party (PDP) imposed all draconian laws to suppress
dissenting voices in the state.
Daring National Conference President Farooq Abdullah to seek
explanation from former Home Minister and senior Congress leader
P.Chidambaram on his failure in implementing the report of three
interlocutors headed by late Dileep Padgaonkar Vakil said National
Conference should also seek categorical clarification from Congress
leadership on the implementation of autonomy resolution of the state
assembly. He questioned why Chidambaram did not dare to talk about
restoration of autonomy when he was Union Home Minister.
Asking Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to immediately recommend
revocation of the recently issued ordinance of Governor N N Vohra on
public protests Vakil said ordinance mandating law enforcement
authorities to jail the organisers of public protests is tantamount to
denial of democratic rights and reflects the dictatorial mindset of
PDP-BJP coalition government. He said issuing this ordinance is
unbecoming of a popular government and should be immediately withdrawn
