Reasi: Agriculture department Saturday organised an awareness camp here at village Hunder to educate the farmers and local people about schemes and programs of the department.
SDAO Sunil Kaul educated the farmers about all schemes of agriculture and assured them for timely supply of quality hybrid seeds and fertilizers in all villages of Tehsil Arnas.
The experts also informed the farmers about diversification of crops, modern techniques in agriculture and horticulture for increasing the quality and quantity of production and using local water resources for irrigation.
The officers and officials gave detailed information on PMFBY, KCC, soil sampling, soil health cards and other subsidy related schemes of the department.
