Srinagar/Oct,25: Chief Minister on Wednesday advised police against attacking the families of the militants.
She was addressing policemen at Police Training School Manigam in central Kashmirâs Ganderbal district.
âThe way militants are attacking the policemenâs families police shouldnât do the same. They should maintain difference,â she said.
Maintaining that police was facing many challenges, the chief minister asked the cops to âensure surrender of local militantsâ.
Houses of several militants were ransacked and family members allegedly thrashed by government forces during past week in south Kashmir.
