Srinagar: Former chief minister Omar Abdullah Monday took a jibe at Rajasthan government for tabling immunity bill in the state Legislature, which reportedly provides immunity from sarpanchs to bureaucrats to Chief Minister of the state.
“Anyone not covered by this bill? Speak now or forever hold your peace,” Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
Mr Abdullah was reacting to reports the Vasundhara Raje government’s ordinance, besides providing immunity to serving and former judges, magistrates and public servants in Rajasthan, also provides immunity to MLAs, Ministers and the CM of Rajasthan.
