Jammu: Vishwakarma day was celebrated with fervour and gaiety by the trainees and staff of Govt. ITI, Canal road.
On the occasion, Principal Anoop Sharma and staff members along with trainees performed Pooja of Vishwakarma Ji and the tools at various workshop blocks of the institute. Vishwakarma Jayanti is celebrated primarily by the craftsmen in factories and industrial areas/institutes as a mark of reverence to Sh Vishwakarma Ji considered as creator of the world.
The Principal ITI congratulated the trainees on the occasion and also applauded them for showing great enthusiasm in celebrations.
