Sopore/Oct,21: Over a dozen persons were arrested during a nocturnal raid for trying to lynch a mentally deranged persons after taking him for a braid chopper in Mazbug area of Sopore yesterday.
On Friday IGP Kashmir Muneer Khan had warned of strict action against what he said braid vigilantes involved in the thrashing of the person in Mazbug.
Police had registered an FIR into the case Friday this week.Sources said that at least 14 youth, identified from the video of the attack posted on Facebook, were detained during a night raid by the police in Mazbug.
