Shopian: A teacher was found dead with slit throat in Wathoo village of Shopian in south Kashmir on Wednesday, police said.
An official said that Aijaz Ahmad Lone, a teacher by profession, was found dead under mysterious conditions near Lar Maadan Stadium in Wathoo area Wednesday morning.
Lone, he said, was a resident of Gatipora village of the district.
A police official said that they have registered a case and investigation has been taken up.
