LMD team seizes 300 bags of Cement

Reasi: A team of Legal Metrology Department Reasi seized 300 cement bags for violation of lebelling nor

The team headed by the Assistant Controller, LMD Kuldeep Raj seized a truck bearing Registration  number JK08A-7491 near Kharalair area of tehsil Pouni.

The truck was loaded with 300 bags of cement with brand names Star Ultra and Pnuetech. The Cement bags were seized for violation of lebelling norms which are mandatory under Packaged Commodity Rule.  All the cement bags were found without packing date and most of them were under weight against marked net wt.  50 kg.

The manufacture/supplier were directed to attend the office of the Assistant Controller Legal Metrology, Reasi for further Legal action.
