ARTO Sopore asks people to register commercial vehicles before Oct, 30

Sopore: ARTO Baramullah Jamsheed Choudry has appealed the people of Baramulla district to register their commercial vehicles before 30th of October . He has clarified that no commercial vehicles will registered from Ist November onwards. He has also initimated that applicants form shall be filled in by the concerned dealers. This is in pursuance to a Government recently issued .
The statement further reads that for the convenience of General public , registration of fresh Non_commercial vehicles of Jammu and Kashmir shall mandatorily be assayed through authorised w.e.f 1st November 2017. Form 20_application from shall be filled in by thread concerned dealer, Says the state . Form No.21 sale Letter, form No.22 and invoice of the vehicle, according to the statement, shall be generated at Dealer end from 4.0. Mandatory fees and taxes person shall also be deposited by the application with the Dealer who shall in turn make online fee payments on the vahan portal
He said authorised Dealers shall prepare complete the consisting of :
1. Form No.20 _ Application
2. Form No.21 _ Application
3. Form No. 22
4. Invoice of the vehicle
5. Temporary registration number
6. Address proof ( Aadhar card/ Election card/ PRC)
7. Pan card ( or form 60 upto Rs.50,000/ transaction)
8. Insurance of vehicle and deposit in the same in the concerned registering authority (RTO/ARTO office) for the approval and generation of registration number of the vehicle.
2. No more temporary Numbers shall be issued by the concerned registering authorities to the dealers hence forth and the temporary numbers already issued to the dealers shall be used upto 30th number 2017 by thread concerned dealers. It shall be ensured that 100% generation of temporary Numbers is made through vahan 4.0 at Dealer end from 1st December 2017.
3. No registration Authority ( RTO/ARTO) Shall enter any file for new non_ commercial vehicle manually or fresh in cash or draft from the applicants from 1st November 2017 on wards
