Srinagar: M.Y. Tarigami, MLA Kulgam, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan, here Monday.
Tarigami discussed important matters with the Governor relating to the restoration of peace and normalcy in the State and also raised issues regarding the need to secure balanced development of Kulgam district.
Appreciating Tarigami’s continuing endeavours the Governor agreed with the Senior Legislator that it would not be possible to achieve optimum growth and development unless we were able to secure sustained normalcy in the State. Governor urged Tarigami to particularly counsel parents and teachers to see that students were protected from being dragged into law and order situations.
