Parvez felicitated by Alma Mater

Kathua: Parvez Ahmed, Chairman and CEO of Jammu and Kashmir Bank and  Alumni  of Institute of Company Secretaries of India has been felicitated with a Golden Memoir by the Institute on its Golden Jubilee Celebrations function on October4, 2017 which was attended by  Prime Minister as the Chief Guest. The memoir was presented to Mr parvez Ahmed by Hon’ble Union Minister Of State for Corporate Affairs, Mr P P Choudhry in presence of President, ICSI,Mr Shyam Agrawal for bringing laurels to the Institute as its most outstanding Alumni along with three others for remarkably contributing to the Nation building immediately since after leaving the Institute as qualified Company Secretary. He has also been crowned as Elite Ambassador of ICSI  through this memoir  signed jointly by its President, CS(Dr) Shyam Aggarwal and  Secretary,CS Dinesh Arora.

Addressing a galaxy of Company Secretaries (Alumni) who had assembled for the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of their Institute at Vidyan Bhawan, Prime Minister on the occasion lauded the role of Company Secretaries for bringing best corporate governance in the corporate sector of the country. Prime Minister also reminded them of their crucial role which they have to play for weeding corruption and black money out from the country and sought Pledge from the Company Secretaries throughout the country to ensure complete tax compliant system in the Country by 2022 ensuring zero presence of Shell Companies, Honest Business culture and Honest Tax payment.The Speech was telecast live by major TV Channels and Livestreamed on internet for the benefit of National audience especially Company Secretaries across the Country.

Srinagar Chapter of ICSI, of which Mr Parvez has remained founding member and Chairman, also extended their felicitation to him on this historic occasion and expressed their great joy for this achievement by their founding Chairman. They appreciated him for bringing laurels to the State especially the CS fraternity and thanked him for sustained support and guidance in taking mission of Srinagar Chapter forward. Social and Business Circles of the State remained abuzz once the news of Pervez’s remarkable feat reached here and Congratulatory message are continuously pouring in since.
