Jammu/Sept,30: A man was killed and two others injured in a road accident on Batote-Kishtwar road in Doda district of Jammu province.
Reports said that a car [registration number JK17-3831], which was on its way from Kishtwar to Doda met with an accident near Suigwari village – 11 km from Doda town – at 4.30am.
Army soldiers from a nearby post rescued the three injured and shifted them to Army Hospital Suigwari, where doctors declared one of them as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Arvind Singh (23), son of Bram Singh, resident of Gullu Kahara. He was a teacher.
The injured were identified as Rajinder Parihar (60) and his son Amit Parihar (25), residents of Matta Kishtwar.
