Srinagar: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh has greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Mahanavami.
In a felicitation message, Dr Singh said the state is known for its multi religious and cultural ethos, which has been the hallmark of Jammu and Kashmir since times immemorial. He said celebrating festivals of different religions collectively has been the tradition, which also strengthens the bonds of amity, and tolerance besides mutual brotherhood. Dr Singh hoped that the festivities would also usher peace, prosperity in the State.
