Srinagar: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh have in their separate statements greeted people of the State on the occasion of Dussehra.
In her felicitation message, the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said the festival marks the victory of good over evil. She said Jammu & Kashmir is proud of celebrating festivals of every religion and community with equal fervor and intensity. Mehbooba Mufti has prayed for the well being of the people of the State on the occasion.
In his message of greeting Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh said the festivals symbolize the triumph of virtue and righteousness over evil and darkness. He said the festival symbolize the strengthening of bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity.
