Srinagar/Sept,25: The third youth allegedly involved in an attack on an SSB party was arrested by police late last night from Banihal area of Jammu and Kashmir, said an official.
Earlier, two youth – Gazanfar Iqbal Khan and Mohammad Arif Wani – were arrested along with two rifles they had snatched from the SSB troopers during an attack last week.
A Head Constable was killed and an ASI injured in the attack near Banihal tunnel on last Wednesday.
“The third absconding youth, identified as Aaqib Waheed Najar of Kaskoot, was arrested from Nowgam area of Banihal last night,” said a top police official.
