Trak: A complete shutdown was observed against the civilian killings in South Kashmir’s Tral town on Friday.
No organization had forwarded the call for shutdown in the town.
All the shops, business establishments and educational institutions remained shut while transport also remained off the roads.
At least two persons were killed and over 35 injured in an attack on Works Ministers cavalcade in the town on Thursday. The slain included a Sikh girl Pinky Kour, a B.Ed student and elderly Master Ghulam Nabi Trag.
Meanwhile, mourners thronged at the residences of victim families.
Security personnel were deployed in strength to maintain law and order in the town.
