Govt orders transfers, postings in middle rung administration

Srinagar: The Government Tuesday ordered transfer and posting of four KAS officers.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, Nagendra Singh Jamwal, KAS, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department.
Ashish Kumar Gupta, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Appeals), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu, vice Nagendra Singh Jamwal.
Khalid Majeed, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Vigilance and Inspections), Jammu, shall hold the charge of the post of Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Appeals), Jammu, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Farooq Ahmad Rather, KAS, Regional Transport Officer, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Integrated Water-shed Management Program, J&K, against an available vacancy.
Anuradha Gupta, KAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Director, Horticulture, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
Naseer Ahmad Wani, KAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department, under orders of transfer as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, shall continue as Additional Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department.
Parvez Sajad Ganai, KAS, under orders of transfer as Program Officer, ICDS Project, Shopian, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Program Officer, ICDS Project, Shopian, till further orders.
Dr Fayaz Ahmad Banday, KAS, General Manager, DIC, Srinagar, under orders of transfer as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, shall continue as General Manager, DIC, Srinagar.
Vaibhav Kohli, KAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department.
Mohammad Yaseen Baqal, Under Secretary to the Government, Forest, Environment and Ecology Department, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, Horticulture Department. He shall be deemed to have been relieved.
