Jammu: Hundreds of students of Government High School Seri Nowshera on Wednesday boycotted their classes and staged a protest to demand speedy investigation into the mysterious death of their schoolmate.
The students sat on dharna on main road raising slogans in favour of Himanshu Sharma who was found dead in mysterious circumstances near house after he left for school on Friday.
The students demanded a fair investigation into the matter.
Earlier school staff tried to convince the students but they didn’t relent.
The protest was called off after SHO Nowshera K Kuldeep informed the students that an investigation was already underway.
