Srinagar/Sept,14:Cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) launched in five villages of Pulwama district in south Kashmir ended today afternoon after several hours.
An official said that forces launched CASO in Mitrigam, Shangerpora, Zagigam, Sontabugh and Putrigam villages of the district last night.
“The search operation was concluded peacefully at 1pm,” said the official.
He said the operation was launched after “specific” inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
