Anantnag: Agriculture Department Anantnag in collaboration with Department of Chemicals and Fertilizers, GOI, organised a day-long orientation program on Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in fertilizers for the retailers and wholesalers of the district here Monday.
In the program, 280 retailers and wholesalers of fertilizers were trained regarding the DBT and their IDs were also generated.
Representatives from various fertilizer companies presented live demonstrations regarding the benefits of the direct transfer.
Among others, Chief Agriculture Officer Anantnag, District Agriculture Officer Anantnag, representatives from various fertilizer companies and other concerned were also present.
