Budgam: Normal life was disrupted in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district after people observed a shutdown against NIA raid at the residence of pro-freedom and religious leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi.
Reports said that shops and business establishments remained shut while transport remained off the roads.
Besides, the main town of Budgam, shutdown was also observed in other parts of the district.
In Hasanabad Srinagar, a protest was held against the NIA raid on the residence of Aga Syed Hasan.
Pertinently, the house of Hurriyat G leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi, who is also the head of religious organization, Anjuman Shari Shian was raided by India’s National Investigation Agency on Thursday morning while hundreds of his supporters had marched to his residence in Budgam amid pro-freedom, pro-Islam and anti-NIA slogans late Thursday and forced the sleuths of National Investigation Agency to leave from his residence.
