Srinagar: The Director Agriculture Kashmir chaired a meeting to review State And Centrally sponsored schemes and implementation of Chief Minister’s special projects at Agriculture Complex Lal Mandi.
All the Joint Directors, Divisional heads and Chief Agriculture Officers of Kashmir Division attended the meeting.
The Director said there will be transparent mode of allotment of funds under all schemes and emphasized upon the officers for judicious use of funds and 100% implementation at ground level.
Director laid a special emphasis on the progress of Chief Minister’s special projects, like Vegetable Initiative & Apiculture Development Projects for raising the economic standards of farmers.
The Director while reviewing the progress under National Mission on Saffron, instructed the concerned officers to bring the targeted area of 1200 hectares under rejuvenation component. He also reviewed the progress of work of commissioning of Saffron Park at Dussu Pampore.
He also reviewed the progress of procurement of oil seed crop and instructed for 100% achievement of the registered area (232 hectares).
