Srinagar: The Enforcement squad of the Legal Metrology Department Monday conducted market checking at various places in the Srinagar City.
During the market checking, 115 business establishments were inspected and a penal sum of Rs. 13800 was collected as fine from 40 erring traders for violation of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
