Meanwhile deputy commissioner, Kupwara Khalid Jehangir, is on spot persuading the agitating people to bury the slain youth and police has issued No Objection Certificate in favour of slain youth.

“We are ascertained about the troops involved in the incident once that is stabled fir will be lodged against them,” Jehanger told Greater Kashmir.

However, agitating people are refusing to perform final rites of the slain youth till they are shown FIR copy and NOC in favour of deceased youth.

Meanwhile a complete shutdown is being observed in Handwara and Kupwara area of north Kashmir against the killing.
