Bandipora: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora Tuesday convened a meeting to review the arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of State Senior Men Volleyball Championship. Hosted by Jammu and Kashmir Volleyball Association in coordination with District Volleyball Association, Bandipora under the aegis of District Administration, the championship would be held at S K Sports Stadium Bandipora from September 16 to September 18.
The meeting was informed that 17 teams including seven from Jammu division are participating in the championship. More than 200 players, coaches and other officials are attending the event for which District Administration is providing all boarding and lodging facilities.
The meeting also discussed various issues to facilitate the guest tea Security arrangements were also reviewed in the meeting for which the police department was asked to ensure foolproof arrangements are put in place.
Executive Member J&K Volleyball Association and Senior National Volleyball Coach, Representatives of various colleges, Secretary Volleyball Association Bandipora and other concerned attended the meeting.
