Srinagar: The Government Thursday transferred IAS officer and Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Syed Abid Rasheed Shah as DC Srinagar, replacing the incumbent Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone.
Lone has been posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Tourism department, while Muhammad Younis Malik, Additional DC Anantnag is posted as DC Anantnag..
“A post from the overall cadre strength of IAS is transferred to the Tourism Department for drawal of salary of the officer,” An order issued by the General Administration Department Thursday evening said.
