Srinagar/Aug,17: A spontaneous shutdown is being observed in Pulwama district to mourn the killing of Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Ayub Lelhari who was killed in a brief gunfight with forces yesterday.
All shops and other commercial establishments are closed in the district while public transport is off the roads.
Lelhari was killed in a gunfight with forces in Banderpora village last evening.
Thousands of people participated in his funeral at his native Lelhar village in Kakapora area today.
