Srinagar/Aug,16:A spontaneous shutdown is being observed in Aripanthan village of Beerwah sub-division of central Kashmir’s Budgam district to mourn the deaths of four youth in firing by government forces on this day last year.
Muhammad Ashraf Wani, a businessman; Manzoor Ahmad Lone, a farmer; Javid Ahmad Najar, a carpenter and Javid Ahmad Sheikh, a hairdresser were shot dead by forces on August 16 as a peoples agitation was going on in Kashmir following the July 8 killing of Burhan Wani.
All shops and commercial establishments are closed in the area and traffic is off the roads.
