Jammu: Minister for PHE .,Flood control and Irrigation Sham Lal Choudhary Friday felicitated the team Jump Rope team which clinched 8 medals in 14th Senior National Jump Rope championship held at Jharkhand.
Minister interacted with the team members and congratulated them on their success .
About 23 players from various districts of state participated in the championship. Navjot Singh, Mohit, Nadeem Sayyad, Aman Rai, Tanu Sharma,, Priyanka Kumari, Amandeep won silver medal while Arusht, Aryan won bronze medal.
He said the youth of the state has immense talent that needs to be chiseled and nurtured so that they can excel in the field of their choice and bring laurels to the state .
He said government is committed to provide better facilities and opportunities to the youth for their overall development.
Minister exhorted upon the youth to put in hard toil to achieve success and also contribute positively in the development of the state and country.
