The meeting was also attended by the officials of Ramtech.

To realize the  dream of DLRMP in J&K, the Minister directed for strengthening of DLRMP cell Srinagar with the deployment of 20 more revenue officials including Girdawars and Patwaris.

The Minister also directed the officers to expedite the process of engaging 30 retired old hands to simultaneously quality check the digitalization prepared by the Ramtech company.

Veeri said clarity in land ownership will also reveal the quantum of land possessed by a person, eventually enabling the latter to purchase land, give deeds, enter mutations and do all kinds of land transactions at the press of a button. He also said government and revenue officials will also have exact details of the land available in the State on completion of the digitization process.

For better revenue management, the Minister directed for framing of timeline for completion of Jamabandi at Tehsil level.  Veeri impressed on the officers to fix the target of Jamabandi to every concerned Revenue official.

The officials of the Ramtech Company informed the Meeting that sample digitalization of land records of Kreeri village has been completed and Srinagar north and Jammu west would expedited as model towns for digitalization of land records.

The Officials of the Ramtech company assured the Minister the timeline will be adhered in completion of the project.
