Bhat posted as Law Secretary

Srinagar: The Government Friday ordered posting of Abdul Majid Bhat, Secretary, J&K Legislative Council as the Secretary to the Government, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
As per the orders issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Bhat will hold the charge of the post of Secretary, J&K Legislative
Council, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Pertinently, Bhat was, since July 2016, holding the additional charge of Secretary to the Government, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
Meanwhile, the Government ordered transfer and posting of several Under Secretaries Friday.
As per the orders issued by GAD, Raeis Ahmad Bhat, Under Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, vice Sanjay Kumar Tickoo.
Javed Ahmad Reshi, Under Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department.
Kavita Pandoh, Under Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department.
Sanjay Kumar Tickoo, Under Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, vice Raeis Ahmad Bhat.
Sanjay Pandita, Under Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission.
Shuaib Mohammad Naikoo, Under Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the J&K Services Selection Board. One post of Junior Scale of KAS from the overall sanctioned strength is transferred to the Services Selection Board for drawl of salary of the officer.
