Weapon snatching bid foiled in Budgam

Srinagar: Police has foiled a weapon snatching attempt when three unknown persons tried to snatch a weapon from Bank guard in Chrar-i-Sharief area of Budgam district this afternoon.
Three persons attempted to snatch a rifle from a J&K Bank guard in Chrar-i-Sharief area of Budgam district today afternoon. The policeman deployed at the guard foiled their attempt. The trio managed to escape from the spot but were caught in a CCTV footage. A case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
