Srinagar: Senior political leader and former minister Abdul Gani Wakil Tuesday appealed people to get untied against those mischievous elements who are directly or indirectly aiding Government of India to scrap Article 35A in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Ever since BJP government has assumed charge, conspiracies are being hatched against minority community while Muslims have been feeling insecure. Uncertainty prevails in Kashmir Valley and it will have very serious ramifications if Article 35 A that bars non-state subjects from purchasing property or seek jobs will be scrapped.
Abdul Gani Wakil advised Chief Minister Mehbooba Muft to take confidence Indian political parties and leaders before Supreme Court gives its verdict. “It will set whole Jammu and Kashmir on fire,” he said.
