Srinagar: Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers (KTMF) president Muhammad Yasin Khan was today placed under house arrest two days ahead of an anti-Goods and Services Tax (GST) protest in this summer capital. A spokesperson of KTMF told UNI that Mr Khan was today placed under house arrest at his residence in HMT Zainakote in city outskirts this evening. He said Mr Khan was scheduled to lead a protest against implementation of GST regime in the state on Tuesday. However, he said the protest against the implementation of GST in the state will be held as per programme.
