Hamirpur, HP: Braving odds, the BSNL will make all out efforts to provide uninterruptive and better facilities to the subscribers of Himachal Pradesh and new 30,000 landline connections will be added in the state during current fiscal year.

This was stated by Ravi Kant, the new General manager of HP telecom circle here last night. Besides, it will also give 31,000 broadband connections to the subscribers in the state. He said barring Baddi where BSNL will launch 4G services, rest of Himachal will be provided with 3G services. For this purpose, in the current financial year 620 new BTS will be installed in the entire state, out of which 305 will be 3G for data services and rest 2G for voice. He said in modern competition era BSNL will focus on 5G services instead of 4G in HP Circle.

He said the main aim of the BSNL was to provide better and modern services to its consumers to compete with private companies. Ravi Kant said BSNL is working tirelessly to provide service in every nook and corner of the state. He said for current financial year BSNL will provide 30,000 new landline connections and 31,000 broadband connections to the subscribers in the state.
