Srinagar: Days after PDP celebrated its 18th Foundation day, the party is holding an important meeting this evening of its legislators and senior party activists.
Quoting sources local news gathering agency KNS reported that the meeting will be held at the residence of the chief minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti.
“All the MLAs, MLCs and district presidents have been called for the meeting which will be chaired by the party president this evening,” a PDP sources said.
The sources said that the meeting will assess the party’s strength and support after the celebration of the foundation day.
“The meeting will also assess the performance of the MLAs in their constituencies and will get feedback from the activists about the role of the MLAs in resolving public grievances,” the sources said.
Sources said that another meeting of ministers will be held soon where performance of the ministers will be evaluated.
Mehbooba Mufti during her address on the foundation day she had insisted on the party’s legislators and ministers should remain connected with the people on the ground and resolve their issues.
