Convener INTACH calls on Guv

Srinagar:  Saleem Beg, State Convener of the Indian Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan.

Beg briefed the Governor about various conservation and management initiatives being undertaken by the INTACH for preserving the cultural heritage of the State, particularly the promotion of the crafts heritage of the local communities.

Governor appreciated  Beg’s efforts in generating awareness among the people of the need to respect and preserve culture and heritage of the State.
