Jammu: Lambasting Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee today said that no one has right to insult the National Flag as great sacrifices and nation’s honour and pride is attached to it. JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said, ‘’Ms Mufti has no right to quote the example of national flag in any form and hurt the nationalist sentiments by insulting national flag, what so ever may be her reasoning or context’’. She was addressing her broader constituency and unfolding her well known agenda to exploit the sentiments of the people attached to these tendencies, while at the same time sharing power with those who always advocated for abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35-A, he said adding, ‘’however the BJP though have surrendered their agenda and put it in back burner to enjoy power against principles.’’ He questioned the BJP over the statement and utterances of Ms Mufti, who is Chief Minister on their strength but she is even questioning the utility of NIA investigations as well propagating her illogical and highly objectionable agenda. ‘’The BJP has not only surrendered its agenda and elections slogans but has sacrificed all the principles and national interests to share power in the state,’’ said Mr Sharma. He also questioned the BJP to explain what kind of freedom of idea is being advocated by their coalition partner and the Chief Minister has lost right to continue in office.
