He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister  Mehbooba Mufti, Union Minster for Road and Transport Nitin Gadkari and Minister for Public Works Naeem Akhtar on behalf of the people of Ladakh in particular the people of Kargil.

He further said many developmental initiatives have been taken by the state and centre government for the people of the state and this project would connect the region with the rest of the country for entire year.

Haji Anayat Ali said with the vision of Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and the bold decision and promises made by Union Minster Nitin Gadkari, the project is going to be executed soon.

He further said with the sincere efforts of state and centre government, the demand for the tunnel stands fulfilled.

The Chairman said people were seen discussing the allotment of tunnel project at every place, whether in Bus, Taxi, Shop, Market, Office or at social media. They are thanking the government for making the dream come true and are hoping for all weather connectivity in near future.
